I need sleep!!!

Well I have been up for 26 hours right now and sleep in the future doesn’t look very good. I was in Hardin Montana laying carpet yesterday night/morning; we left around 2 yesterday and got home this morning at 9. I’m feeling pretty good for not sleeping for the past 26 hours. On our way down to Hardin we took a little detour and took the wrong interstate but we hooked into junction 47 and made our way to Hardin. Well my future will not entail quitting college to lay carpet I’d way rather get my business degree and go that way. So today we have started the moving process in getting out of our house. My friends Derek, BAT and Russ Pat are here helping me move the heavy stuff so my dad doesn’t have to. We are just moving two rooms today so we can clean them after and not get to ahead of our selves. Later today all of us are going to go on another four-wheeler ride behind my house because it’s so NICE out yes I said NICE out. Also my stupid friends want to challenge me in a game of Madden again which I will always accept and the last time they wanted to play me I beat them by 110 so it will be another ass kicking.

Rain Rain Go Away!

I love to go on rides on the four-wheeler this my buddies back behind my house this picture is from the other day that's BAT. Well what a very busy week it was I mowed all my lawns on Monday and Tuesday which was nice so I didn’t have to worry about them the rest of the week. Well all I can say is RAIN RAIN jeez it has been raining here since Wednesday and hasn’t let up at all. In our paper it said that we got 1.5 inches of rain in the past two days. Well from Tuesday till Wednesday was the longest period I have ever been awake for. I was awake for 28 hours and felt pretty good for not sleeping at all. I think that when you get past a certain time you just don’t feel tiered anymore or maybe it was the Red Bull I drank you take your pick. So Wednesday when I got home around 9 A.M. I didn’t go to sleep until 11 A.M. though and slept till 5 P.M. then my buddies BAT and Russ Pat come out and we played Guitar Hero for a long time then went to the new Indiana Jones movie and I thought it was terrible compared to the last three. The stunts look so fake and the skull looked like it had tin foil in it. My buddy BAT made it into the paper on the front page because the movie was a midnight release so that was pretty cool. So I have a new favorite show I like to watch on Thursday nights its Last Comic Standing these people are so damn funny I laugh so hard. Well my dad and I have been trying to go fishing for who knows how long now; either we are to busy or it’s been raining for the past four days and its supposed keep raining all next week. It really sucks to have it rain but we really need it; it would be nice to have all the lakes and rivers full this summer and not to have many forest fires. So today I have done nothing at all and I LOVE IT, my mom and I are going to watch I’ am Legend I have never seen it and it looks really good. Well I’ll check back in on Monday or Tuesday.

The Next Chapter!!!

So my garage sale went okay I didn’t get much traffic due to I think that there were too many things going on in town. Like the Race for the Cure, the spring carnival and many others. On Friday and Saturday nights I went out the lake to see my friends who were camping at Fish Hawk campground. We sat around the fire and talked for a while and they ended up jumping into the freezing cold water which the ICE just came off of. Well my lawn business is in full swing all ready and I have been very busy power racking and laying fertilizer down. This week should be fairly busy I have to go to Billings with my Uncle on Tuesday to lay carpet in a casino. Now these jobs take a lot out of you because we will leave Butte on Tuesday afternoon and drive to Billings; then get a hotel room and sleep till the night and then get up and work all night and morning until its done; so I will be very exhausted on Wednesday. So June 2nd is coming very quickly this is the date when our family has to be moved out of our house. I’m pretty sad because I grew up in this house and lived here for fifteen years and I guess its home. But you know the next chapter in the book of life is coming so I’m excited for that. I will be helping my dad build our new house and I will learn a lot of useful skills during the process.

The Summer Life!

Well having a garage sale is not an easy job. Having to prepare everything and getting the stuff on the tables and pricing everything is very time consuming. I’m having a sale this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. I really enjoy going to garage sales and finding old fishing and hunting items I love to collect those kinds of things. So my shoulders are so sun burnt I have been mowing lawns and power racking for the past couple of days and forgot to put some sunscreen on before I left. Me and a couple of buddies on I think Wednesday took our four-wheelers up behind my house for a ride for a couple of hours it was really sweet. Last night I had a softball game and we won by 9 runs but really we won by a lot more because in the last inning we already had the game won and we started to screw around it was really fun. Well I’ve been working-out this week and running is getting easier I run 1.3 miles from my house around our local store and I call it the LOOP. So I think tonight me and a couple of my friends are going to go camping out at the lake for the night so I will be a blast to hang out with my friends from high school. Well I’ll check back in soon to tell you how my sale went.

Packing Up???

Well I’m officially done with my freshman year and it feels great. I have got three A's so far and haven't seen my other two grades yet. The drive home was very interesting; near Basin a Semi-Truck flipped over on its side and the road was on LOCK DOWN. So instead of waiting for hours on end my dad came up with the great idea to go down the frontage road. I could tell where the Semi had tipped over because there where huge plastic culverts on the frontage road but I just weaved my way through them. Of course the sun couldn’t have been shinning on my last day of school it was poring outside. Well I got home and I had a huge welcome home from my parents, wait wait wait that must have been a dream when I got home nobody was home so I just started to unpack my truck. It was all right because later that night I went and ate chicken wings at the Overland which if you ever want good chicken wings that’s the place to go damn there good I think I ate probably thirty wings that night. So I’m on a softball team here in Helena and last night was my first game playing with the team but it was only there second game. The team is made up off my old high school buddies, it’s a blast to play with them and just shoot the breeze. We killed this team we played last night; it really wasn’t a match up we played against a bunch of old guys. So this isn’t something ever college student experiences; you come home from your first year of college and your parents have sold the house and their business, so now I come home and unpack my stuff then have to pack our house up. Well I’ll check back here on Monday or Tuesday!!!!!!

Freshman Year Review!

Well what a year it has been, I damn near have my first year of college under my belt and it feels great. I’m very glad that I decided to come to Montana Tech instead of Carroll College. I love everything about MT Tech from joining ASMT to being apart of the MT Tech football team. I’m really glad that Levi Briese told me about ASMT and that I should join, I almost did not join I really had no reason not to but that would have been a HUGE mistake. Football keeps me very busy sometimes to busy but I’m really glad that I can say that I’m apart of the MT Oredigger football team. My freshman year went by way to fast, I was talking to Chris Mjelde our President of ASMT at The Land of Magic tonight and he was telling me every year school year will just go by faster and faster. Having family in Butte has made my first year be great. From my grandparents cooking me dinner and doing my laundry to my aunt and uncle taking me to dinner and helping me with anything I need. So thank you to all my family I truly appreciate it. Living in the dorms is something that everybody should experience sometime in their lifetime. It is a very different kind of lifestyle while living in the dorms than your use to; you have to learn to compromise with your roommate which I had to do a couple of times. Adjusting to the college life is probably one of the main challenges you will have to face; college is the first important step in building your future with out your parents. It is very hard to balance school and recreation, always make sure that school is first. Well I only have three days before I will make the journey home but don’t worry I will be still leaving my blogs throughout the summer and next year.
