Happy New Year

Well another year has past this year just flew by, this year was a very busy but yet exciting. I graduated from high school, signed to play football with Montana Tech, traveled to Australia and many more. Yesterday morning my cousin and uncle from Butte came over and they met up with my dad and we went ice fishing out on Canyon Ferry. The ice was pretty thick it was about eight inches and the weather was perfect not to hot or not too windy. The fishing day its self was not very good its self, I caught three Perch and one Rainbow and my cousin caught two Rainbows but one got off the hook right as we brought it up through the hole. We came off the ice around 2:30 P.M. when we got home I crashed like a sack off potatoes and slept until around 6. After I woke up I remembered I was going Vegas bowling with a bunch of my friends at 9. Bowling was so much fun I saw some of my old friends from high school and we bowled until 12:30. They call this style of bowling Vegas bowling because you can win money if you’re lucky and guess what I wasn’t very lucky I won a quarter. Well I hope your 2007 year was as good as mine and I hope 2008 is even better.

Christmas Break

Christmas break has gone by so fast I can’t believe that it’s almost over. Well yesterday was my birthday and I turned nineteen years old; were have the years gone it seems like yesterday that I was playing with my Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers. This Christmas break was been kind of weird in the sense that I haven’t had basketball or any sport in that matter its been kind of nice just relaxing and hanging out with my friends. Well Christmas was a blast, we don’t really have a big party or anything we just open our presents on Christmas Eve and then we get a big present from Santa Claus. This year from Santa Claus I received Guitar Hero; if you have not played this game it’s a blast. I have to head back to Butte a week early so I can go back to work to do inventory. This makes me sad because I have to leave my friends and family but on the other hand I get to make so money which is always good. Well I hope everyone who reads this had a great Christmas and I hope you have a happy New Year.

Fun Fun Fun Fun Fun

The past to days have been so much fun, I’ve went skiing up at Discovery and that was a blast; it had just snowed before we started to ski so there was three to four inches of fresh powder. I hadn’t skied in about four years so when my first run I went down the bunny hill it was pretty fun. Then I we went down the Jubilee chair lift which were some blue squares and green circles. Then after I started to get my moves back I went up Rumsey Mountain which is the largest chair lift at Discovery it has black diamonds and blue squares. I had so much fun skiing with my two buddies and just getting away from home and being in the outdoors. Then today I made a quick trip back to Butte for a Christmas party for my job; we exchanged presents and snacked around it was fun. Some of my family was there my aunt and uncle, cousins and grandparents. I’m so stuffed from snacking around I don’t think I could eat another bite; wait what am I talking about I’m always hungry.

Very Nice To Be Home

It feels great to sleep in my huge queen bed and not have my feet hang over the edge like in my dorm room. I’ve been getting up at 6 A.M. to work out at my old high school; I’ve been lifting, running and stretching. Then when I get back I go back to bed because I’m trying to catch up on some sleep that I’ve been missing during the college life. Today I went up to our local Godfather’s I had the pizza buffet and played Gun’s & Roses pinball it was so sweet but I didn’t do very well. Tomorrow me and two other friends are making the trip down to Discovery Ski Resort; its college day up there so if you show your college ID you get your lift ticket for half off. Were going to leave around 7 A.M. so we have plenty of time to get down there in it starts to snow. I don’t have my own skies I have to rent them at Capital Sports for $25; it’s cheaper at Discovery but I don’t want to have wet boots. Well I hope that my friends and I have a blast tomorrow.

Home Sweet Home

Well, my first week back was very busy working for my parents and working out early in the morning at 6am. My parents own a smoked fish business called Montana Mountain Smoked and this is our busiest time of the year. This week was very weird being home for more than the normal weekend. Tonight I'm heading back to my old high school with some of my old friends to watch them play basketball, then after I'm going to the new movie Alvin and the Chipmunk's. Tomorrow night is what I have been waiting for all year to go ice fishing; me and a couple of friends grab our fishing gear and some wooden pallets and head on out to the lake until the early morning hours. The first week back was very crazy but yet not to exciting because most of my friends have not drove back yet, but this weekend should be fun when they get back.

Getting Ready to Leave for Home

Well I just finished up with my 1st semester of college at Montana Tech. I'm in the process of packing all of my clothes and checking off the list the RA gave me. This semester just seemed to cruise by I don't know were it really went; I think that playing football was a part of this. I really get excited for Christmas; not only is it just fun to be excited for Christmas but on December 27th is my 19th Birthday and also is my parents 27th wedding anniversary. I'm very excited to go and sleep in my queen size bed and see some of my old high school friends. I can't wait for our local lake Canyon Ferry to freeze over so I can go ice fishing with my dad. Well I've decided that college life is a lot different than high school life, your parents aren't around and its the first time that you're really on your own. I've had a really good experience at Montana Tech during my first semester and I hope that everything keeps getting better.
