I'm Sick of the Snow!!

Well what an exhausting weekend it was, with football starting and a mix of freezing cold weather. So as you know spring football started bright and early Saturday morning. I don’t think I’ve ever been that cold in my whole life; I bet it was around 5 degrees outside. Practice went pretty good, spring ball is a lot of learning for the freshmen; I’m glad it is so we can actually know the plays. I came back from practice and took a thirty minute shower so I could unthaw. After unthawing around dinner time my roommate Sean and I went to the M&M; we ate dinner and shot a couple games of pool. Then I went down to Sully’s house and played Halo with Chuck and Sully; by the way they are both cheaters. Sunday my Grandpa called me and I went down to his house and then we went up to a garage sale and I got a heck of a deal on clay pigeons and a thrower. I got four boxes of clay pigeons and a brand new automatic thrower for $25. Then after my Grandma and Grandpa cooked me bacon, eggs and toast; god it was so good. Practice last night went good it wasn’t to bad outside until it started to snow the last 20 minutes of practice. Then last night at eight, I worked for my uncle laying carpet at a Town Pump, we started at eight and didn’t get back until four o’clock this morning. I didn’t get up this morning until noon today I’m pretty tiered but I’ll make it.

Spring Football

Well we are one week closer to school getting out for summer. This week was a pretty busy week like all normal weeks in the college life. Monday was definitely hard to get back into the swing of things due to our week of for Spring Break. Tuesday night we tested for football; we tested our 20, Digger agility, vertical, height and weight. It went pretty good but I don’t know if I improved on anything because I can’t remember how I did last time. On Wednesday our trainer measured our heads for our helmets because we start spring ball this Saturday, we also got fitted for our football cleats for the fall. Yesterday was a very brain draining day, I had three quizzes and I was really confused in Excel. So today was a pretty relaxing day, I went trap shooting with my roommate, Sully and Chuckster. It was so much fun we shot a lot of clay pigeons and then we started to find random stuff and shot it. Tonight I have to work down at the Hyper for the Kids Night Out from 6-7. After I’m going to the new movie 21 with a couple of my buddies, I’ve been waiting to see this movie since I first seen the previews. So football starts at 7:55 A.M. tomorrow morning; I have a special teams meeting. Well I’ll talk to you on Sunday let you know how football practice goes.

Happy Easter!!

So this weekend was way more exciting than the whole week. On Thursday my girlfriend came home so we hung out that night, we played a game with her mom. The weather over break was just terrible; it didn’t cooperate with my plans at all. I wanted to go fishing the whole break but it snowed, the wind was blowing so hard and it was only nice two days the whole break the days
I went fishing. On Friday night I went bowling with three of my buddies and my girlfriend, I was bowling really good I couldn’t believe it. I even bowled a strike left handed with some sweet spin. After bowling I went out to our local lake, my buddy was camping out there so we went out there around midnight we sat around a fire and just talked. Saturday I went fishing again, we caught ten Rainbow’s but it wasn’t as fast of a fishing day as Monday but it was still really good. There were boats everywhere, one boat was driving all over it was making me really mad he didn’t even care about the other fifteen boats on the water. That night I went and got dip’n dots at some game place downtown, and then we went back to my girlfriend’s house we just hung out and made ring tones for my phone. Today I slept into around 10 and I got Las Vegas the TV show series season four for an Easter present from my parents or the Easter bunny you can decide. I kind of just packed my stuff up today and finished putting the finishing touches on my room since I really cleaned it and moved some stuff out. I mowed my lawn it was really dusty and I took I think six bags of grass off it. Overall I guess break was pretty fun seeing my family was great but I wish the weather was a little more cooperative. Spring Break

This week has been a pretty boring week and the weather hasn’t cooperated at all with me. Its been snowing or raining or windy pretty much all week. My plans to go fishing went right down the drains I guess you could say that; I only went fishing once since I’ve been home. The highlight of my week was the one day I went fishing, we got up to our spot and the wind was howling so we really couldn't drift down with our boat. My dad caught to Rainbow’s there but then we decided to go troll in the lake part. We knocked the crap out of the Rainbow’s down there, man oh man. It was just one fish after another it seemed like and we were only fishing in 6 to 10 feet of water so not very deep at all. We didn’t get out there till around noon time and didn’t leave until five o’clock, which is the latest we have ever fished up there. So Spring Break is almost over and I’m kind of glad, I guess you could say I miss Butte its weird I know. My mom and I have played a lot of Guitar Hero this week shes getting pretty good. She even beet me, we were even on the same level its pretty sad I know. It was nice to see my mom and dad though you kind of get to miss seeing them all the time because you were so used to it during high school. Just a nice weekend

So Friday night I just hung out with my family, my parents had a fire outside in our fire pit so I just sat outside and caught up on life. What a feeling sleeping in my huge queen bed it felt like sleeping on a cloud, I’m pretty sure that I didn’t even move Friday night at all. On Saturday I slept in till around eight that morning and then went up to Sportsman’s Warehouse for their big balloon discount day. How it worked was the first five hundred customers received a number to prove you were one of the first five hundred customers. Then you made your purchase and they grabbed a balloon and popped it and you got from 5% all the way to 100% of your total sale; my dad got 5% and I got 20%. I bought my first pair of waders for fly fishing; instead of buying the pair with boots built in I bought the ones where you buy the boots separate. Later that day I went down to our storage unit where our boat is and messed around down there and got some fishing stuff together for today. Last night was pretty fun I went down to the pizza place and ate pizza with my family and some of our family friends. We were down there for a long time just talking a way and telling stories. Our friends were Becky Kathy and Buddy; Buddy use to be our UPS man and we’ve been friends ever since. Becky Kathy is really cool she really tough I’m scared of her I think and she calls me Drill it’s a long story (really long story). They are apart of my traveling fan club for the next four years of football. Then a buddy from high school ended up coming out and hanging out and we played Guitar Hero for a while and then it was getting late so he left. Well today was pretty worthless, I didn’t get up till nine and then just really didn’t do much all day just a bunch of random stuff. Tomorrow we planning on going fishing up at our favorite spot and ill let you know how we did. Well to some up this weekend it was just perfect you could say, not to much excitement and not to much of lying around.

1050 lbs Club

So this blog is coming from my home in Montana City. It’s finally Spring Break and I think everyone really needed it. This week compared to most was a pretty laid back, not having winter conditioning was pretty weird and in all my classes most of the teachers didn’t want to start anything before the break. This week was our max week for football; on Tuesday I did my bench max it ended up at 345 lbs, on Wednesday I did my squat max it ended up at 515 lbs and finally on Thursday I did my clean max it ended up at 240lbs. I was pretty happy with all my maxes; my total weight ended up at 1100 lbs which puts me in the 1050 lbs club. I went up in all of my maxes I added 25 pounds to my bench, 30 lbs in my squat and 5 lbs in my clean, so as you might have guessed this week pretty much revolved around me lifting. As you know I’m home for Spring Break and I’ll be working and fishing a lot. On Sunday my uncle and cousin will be coming over from Butte to go fishing with my dad and I up at our favorite spot; it’s going to be a blast. But before we go I have a lot of work to do like pick up our boat and get all of our fishing stuff together. Well as usual ill talk to you on Sunday and update you on how our fishing trip went.

It’s so warm outside today; I love how sunny it is. Well Friday I did go home around three in the afternoon and when I got home I was welcomed by an empty house with the TV left on. My dad was down at our storage units, my sister was at work and my aunt and mom were up town shopping. So I just warmed up some chicken wings and ate them in front of the TV and then went to the dentist, my teeth were perfect know new cavities. So later that night I walked into my room and guess what my 47 year old mom and my 55 year old aunt were ROCKING out to Guitar Hero. It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen in my life; they call their band the K&D band. So before my grandparents past away we use to play Gin Rumi all the time; so when my aunt comes down we usually play. She claims that she beat me but we only played three games and she was beating me 145 to 140 and you’re supposed to go to 500 points so ill leave it up to you. On Saturday I came back to Butte for MULLETFEST we lost both games right away and were out of the tournament. While waiting for my mom and aunt to get done with their friend’s party I took a three hour nap. Later that night we went to dinner at the Land of Magic; it was pretty good but it took them a long time to get our dinner out to us. After dinner we went back to my aunts hotel room to go swimming but my mom for got her purse at dinner so he drove back up to get it. So my roommate Sean came down to go down the water slide with us; I couldn't’t believe it my 55 year old aunt and 48 year old mom went down the water slide many times. Now my aunt has arthritis pretty bad but that wasn’t going to stop her going up the water slide. She screamed like a little girl the whole way down the slide everyone in the pool area was staring at us and laughing; this wasn’t just a scream it was a bloody murder scream. My mom the same thing just screaming her head off; I think it must be a sister thing. So to my question in the title, in our paper in Helena in the found section, someone found a studded Sorrel with white socks found along highway. So everyone new it was a male horse except my mom and I we thought it was someones ice fishing boot because of the Sorrel boot brand name. In a bit I’m heading out to my other aunts house for dinner; she’s making one of my favorites chicken and dumplings. So I had so much fun with my aunt and my mom this weekend, I wish my aunt would come up and see us more often but when she does come up we always have a blast she’s such a NUT.

What A High Level Of Fitness We Have Acomplished (LOL)

Holy cow, did this week fly by or what? I know I sound like a broken record but jeez was this a crazy week or what. Well to start out WINTER CONDITIONING IS OFFICIALLY OVER, today was our last day of mandatory lifting but my lifting will continue. Now, I was talking to Coach Green the other morning and he was telling me he was sad that WINTER CONDITIONING IS OFFICIALLY OVER and that the loves getting the whole football team together like that. But I’m pretty sure the whole football team really loves that WINTER CONDITIONING IS OFFICIALLY OVER, now I only have three more years of winter conditioning left. On Tuesday we had another intramural basketball game; we beat the other team by I think forty points. This was an awfully fun game because we just demolished our opponent; they never even had a chance from the start. On Wednesday my Aunt Debbie came from Twin Falls in Idaho and I saw her and my mom and sister came down to pick her up to bring her to my house in Montana City. Yesterday I was a different tired then normal, my brain was exhausted I had two quizzes and one test. The quizzes were in Excel and College Algebra; test was in Environmental Issues. On top of being drained I was sick as a dog; I’m getting a cold. So now to Friday I have to go home in a little bit because I have a dentist appointment. Then tomorrow morning I have to make my way back to Butte because MULLETFEST is on Saturday, I had to borrow my cousin’s baseball mitt. So ill check back in on Sunday to update you on how we did at MULLETFEST.

Just what the doctor ordered

Well this weekend I got just what the doctor ordered a lot of R & R. Having football running workouts and weight lifting does take a lot out of you especially when you have done it for the past three weeks. I did end up staying here this weekend; it was perfect my roommate went home to Idaho so I had to whole room to myself. On Friday night I went to the basketball games; it was really fun being a part of the hooligans and yelling at the other team. Then after the game I went down to my so called friends house that is kind of a jerk to me sometimes Sully. We just hung out for awhile and I wrestled Chuck a couple of times and then one of Sully’s roommates Grove. Then I slept until eleven the next morning which by the way was amazing. Then Saturday night I went to the hooligan party at the M & M it was pretty fun and then I went to the basketball game again. After I came back to my dorm room and went straight to bed I was very exhausted. Then this morning my grandmother called me and woke me up around eleven and asked me if I wanted pancakes for breakfast. Now I was really tiered still but there was no way I was going to pass up a breakfast cooked by my grandfather. Then I cleaned my room and washed my sheets, comforter, pillowcases, pillows and even my memory pad case. Around five o’clock I headed on out to my aunt’s house and had dinner; she cooked tuna noodle casserole. It was very scrumptious and for dessert we had cinnamon rolls. Then we watched date line it was about a girl who was abducted; I’m not going to lie I was pretty weird how this girl just seemed to fall right off the world. Well another week on rollercoaster is about to start and it should be interesting like last.
